       Jamaica

Jamaica is an island country situated in the Caribbean Sea, consisting of the third-largest island of the Greater Antilles. The island, 10,990 square kilometres in area, lies about 145 kilometres south of Cuba, and 191 kilometres west of Hispaniola, the island containing the nation-states of Haiti and the Dominican Republic. Jamaica is the fourth-largest island country in the Caribbean. It has a population of about 3 million people who's national language is english and currency is Jamaican dollar.

Negril, one of the most beautiful beaches in whole Jamaica. It offers many different activities to do such as cliff-jumping, snorkeling, fishing, and many more. The place is about an hour and fifteen minutes drive on the coastal highway from Sir Donald Sangster International Airport, in Montego Bay. This beach is considered a number one tourist spot on the whole island which means that it could be crowded but its 11 kilometers wide with many hidden, yet beautiful spots. It is totally worth to visit this beach if you'll ever travel to Jamaica.

Jamaician food is something very delicious, the Jamaican cuisine ia a mixture of cooking techniques, flavours, spices and influences from the indigenous people on the island of Jamaica, and the Spanish, British, Africans, Indian, American and Chinese who have inhabited the island. One of the current popular dishes in Jamaica is Brown stew chicken, also referred to as stew chicken. The dish is called brown because of the distinct dark colour of the dish. The colour is achieved by browning the chicken in brown sugar, which creates a rich gravy to which main vegetable components like onions, garlic and carrots are added. This dish is often eaten with french fries.
